Why You Should Hire a Member of the Inner Circle of Advocates

Robert F. Spohrer

There are dozens of legal organizations that skilled lawyers may be invited to join over the course of their careers, often becoming members through rigorous staff review or a comprehensive peer nomination process. Of all of these organizations, however, one stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Inner Circle of Advocates, an invite-only legal society that includes the most celebrated and talented trial attorneys in the entire nation.

At Spohrer Dodd, our founding partner and president Robert Spohrer is a member of this prestigious legal organization, which only recognizes 100 national trial lawyers at any given time. Because of their unique skills and remarkable track records, having a member of The Inner Circle on your personal injury or medical malpractice case may increase your chances of a positive outcome – especially if there are millions of dollars at stake.

What Is the Inner Circle of Advocates?

Created by noted Tucson attorney Richard Grand back in 1972, The Inner Circle of Advocates is on a mission to promote the highest standards of courtroom excellence, and allow for greater collaboration amongst the country’s top legal minds. This is just one reason why the Inner Circle of Advocates has long been recognized as the “gold standard” in legal organizations.

Initially, only 50 lawyers could join with The Inner Circle of Advocates; later, this was expanded to include 100 trial lawyers at any time. In order to qualify as one of these 100 attorneys, a prospective candidate must have either 3 verdicts totaling above $1 million, or a single verdict that surpasses $10 million in recovery. Additionally, the candidate must have considerable experience and widely-acknowledged courtroom skill – and they must have handled at least 50 trial cases on their own.

Once a lawyer has met these qualifications, however, it doesn’t stop there. In order to keep qualifying as a full member of The Inner Circle, the most recent major verdict has to be just 5 years old or less. That means that all current members in good standing must be continuously generating million and multi-million dollar verdicts for their personal injury clients.

Hiring a Member for Your Injury Claim

When you’ve been seriously injured, it’s critical to hire the right legal representation, and select someone you can trust to advocate for your interests. Because members of The Inner Circle of Advocates have a clear track record of results, as well as the backing of one of the country’s most noted legal societies, hiring an attorney with this qualification can improve the odds on your claim.

With over 150 years of collective experience and a member of The Inner Circle of Advocates at our Jacksonville firm, the team at Spohrer Dodd is ready to help you fight for your rights. Whether in court or at the negotiating table, we’ll strive for the compensation that you truly deserve, and we’ll never back down from a challenge.
