Attorney Newman Speaks at Paralegal Association of Florida in Tallahassee

Spohrer Dodd

As committed personal injury attorneys, our team is always excited to share our knowledge, skills, and experience with the greater Florida legal community. Recently, one member of our team got the chance to do exactly that, when our firm partner Barry Newman was asked to lecture at the spring convention of the Paralegal Association of Florida in Tallahassee.

Held on Saturday, March 7th, the 2020 Annual Spring Seminar on “Navigating the Legal Waters” was hosted in the Florida State University stadium and included a total of six esteemed guest speakers. For his lecture, titled “99 Bottles of Beer,” Attorney Newman offered insights from his experiences as a well-respected aviation law attorney. The lecture also included important points about admiralty law; another area of practice for Attorney Newman.

Because aviation accidents are so complex and difficult to navigate, this practice area is often considered to be niche within the field of personal injury law – and only the most experienced and trial-tested attorneys tend to operate in this area. At Spohrer Dodd, we’re proud to bring over 150 years of combined experience to our robust aviation law practice. Having won over $22 million in settlements and verdicts, our aviation team is led by none other than Attorney Barry Newman, who is one of only 42 Board Certified Aviation Law Specialists in the entire state of Florida.

If you need assistance or guidance on an aviation law matter, our team is ready and willing to assist. By working with the wider legal community and offering our expertise on high-stakes aviation cases, we hope to secure better results for our clients – and to push for greater transparency across the aviation industry.
